Radio Clash 51: 51st Late n’ Spooky Edition
Hubba bubba, boil pot noodle, the bitching hour is on hand; down comes the killer smog and we Wyrd sisters cackle:
'eye of Newt and tongue of Crazy Frog;
Madonna's new single should end up in a Peat Bog;
Hex Bush and his evil cronies;
But Kate Moss we like so curse her hyper-critical cokehead phonies...'
or something...I didn't say spells had to scan did I?

Excellent podcast Tim, and as a massive Depeche Mode fan, I loved the DM remix, and thanks for the link to the Violator remix album on your show notes. I'm downloading as I speak.
I've been subscribed to your podcast since the beginning of this year, and love it.
Keep up the good work!

Brave Combo are actually from Texas. See 'em live, they're awesome - you WILL do the hokey-pokey.

Singing mice, singing Macs! Glad you enjoyed the little voice clips, and my name is pronounced with a "SH" sound--you got it right the first time. Listening at work--but with earphones!

glad you all liked it! I was worried I might scare everyone away
Thanks Mr Fab - I'm useless with locations...and remembering such stuff!

I've been helping Jeb get his £50 Note Podcast in a state that's "subscribe-able". Here's the feed link:

Thanks for the "shout outs" Tim!

Tim, Tim, Tim...
You can just post the Livejournal RSS feed into your reader, and then be subscribed to those tracks you're trying to get.
http://www.livejournal.com/users/(lj user name)/data/rss
That should work in any news reader that can take rss feeds.
I'll make myself available for a virtual smack if ti doesn't work.

Get ready for a virtual smack cos it doesn't
Except OI'm FAR too polite to do that...
for example following your post should be http://www.livejournal.com/50_pound_note/data/rss
as he is http://www.livejournal.com/users/50_pound_note/ but you get a 404 error?
As far as I can tell, LJ doesn't do RSS 2 feeds.

Hmmmm....interesting....the plot thickens. Livejournal does have an Atom feed at http://www.livejournal.com/users/50_pound_note/data/atom which makes Feedburner.com happy.
I had read some information that said that Livejournal doesn't support anything higher than RSS 1.0, but maybe that has changed after Livejournal got purchased by that other company earlier this year.
Thanks Brad for making me dig a little deeper.

yeah Atom feeds don't have enclosures - the dev team and the tech-daddy bear of podcasting dave Winer fell out, so it's only RSS 2.0 that has them...
Feedburner takes your Atom feed and then I think scans the page for links and combines the two...or picks it up from the feed, but I think Atom doesn't like HTML in it...
Seems odd LJ is so behind the times on this?
