Apologies if you get show 75 twice…

Monday, May 15th, 2006

..but due to exceeding bandwidth on one of my servers I had to move show 75; and there is a big chance since Juice (although being one of the best podcatchers/podcast 'receivers') is still pretty stupid it doesn't recheck enclosures whether they have moved since it started to download them...

Hence it keeps hitting the old address, and you don't get the show, unless you re-add it elsewhere as a new enclosure.

Meh.

So the Show notes and links are now correct for #75 but just re-attaching #75 to THIS post as the first enclosure to solve this problem.

As you were!

DJ Lumpy tunes back online!

Monday, May 15th, 2006

Now usually I'd not post that X has now has a site or it's back - but this is an exception since Lumpy's not had a website for years, and his tunes are well deserving of hostage. Maybe I could rephrase that?

Anyway check this out: http://www.scottcairo.co.uk/Lumpy/index.htm

and your humble host recommends 'No Good (Start the Raam)' - (played back in Radio Clash Show 2!), Higher State of Timekeeping (show 13) and a newer track Starship Nothing which is aceage too - and the rest are good too.

Radio Clash 75: This One’s For Joe

Monday, May 15th, 2006

For the 75th Radio Clash, I do a long-coming artist special around the Clash, dedicated to Joe Strummer and bicyclemark.

This is the last show for probably some time; as I'm playing UBER on June 30th and need to sort out a Noisy mix for 6/6/6, as well as start to prepare for November invasion at Bootie in SF.

http://odeo.com/sendmeamessage/RadioClash

Seen this over at Evoca but courtesy of Funtime Ben over at Tracks Up the Tree I see that you can drop me a message via Odeo...cool! Give it a go.

You obviously need a mic and Flash and a computer and a voice and a brain...

EDIT: Except that is doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Rats. I'm sure they'll fix that...I'll have to sort out Evoca then.

I now have an Evoca group http://www.evoca.com/groups/radioclash/ so you can record comments then add them to the group (I think unlike the Odeo you have to join, record your comment, then click edit and add it to the group - not exactly simple.). But it does have the added value of working at the moment...!

Not that anyone actually sends comments anyway...
P.S Ditched the US number - kept expiring. The Uk number still works, but those of you outside the UK can use Evoca or Odeo or Gizmo.

What I really need is a Flash gizmo on this very site...hmm.
