Radio Clash 81: Cheers, Tears and Souvenirs - Tim and Kirk in Amsterdam

Yes it's finally here - Tim & Kirk terrify Amsterdam with their antics on their 10 year anniversary (of what? Well listen to the podcast to find out!), with 'hilarious consequences' (*quotes added by our lawyer)
Err...Why am I writing in second person? Anyway it's littered with music relating either to ver Dam itself or in or around the golden year of 1996 that have, well, a personal meaning...see if you can spot it!
We also meet up with Madge Weinstein and Bicyclemark for the World's First SmallBloatCast (err probably) on Mark's boat the Red August (it's a prequel thing...) where we discuss how FEBO could make serious money with prostitutes, coke money and C5s, faggotry of the penis, segways, slaves and insults and why vblogging sucks.
Also we unwisely play with the windmills of our minds (see what I did there?) with rather too many mushrooms and space cakes...
Apologies for the audio in places - outboard motors don't like iRivers and vice versa I guess! Taken me ages to clean this hence the delay...
Pictures are on my Flickr, suckr.

Sounds like you guys had a blast in Amsterdam - great show! Kudos on playing some Placebo as well. Funny show, good music and great guests... the perfect combo.

This isn't coming through on my iTunes. When I look at the feed code at http://www.mutantpop.net/radioclash/rssfeed.php, I'm not seeing this entry. The entry at the top is the "Holestar in FIRST MINTY track in 10 years SHOCKA!!!!" one.
July 26th, 2006 at 10:02 pm
hmm the entry is there when I look via a browser?
Dunno about iTunes but the feed validates also. http://feedvalidator.org
Shortened the title and took out the ampersands just in case...but it's iTunes problem not mine I think. TBH it's a crap podcatcher, despite everyone using it.

Just subscribed in iTunes 6.0.5 to my feed and it's downloading 81 straight away.
So I don't know what could be the issue - cached feed somewhere?
July 26th, 2006 at 10:24 pm
Now it's downloading.
It looks like IE might have been caching (the right entry came up after hitting refresh), but it doesn't explain why iTunes wasn't reading it. I certainly hope that iTunes and IE aren't linked somewho....that would be nightmare. Might have been the ampersands too...who knows. My computer has been flaky anyway.
Thanks.

Britney Spears engaged My Prerogative Kevin Federline courts a bit of controversy with her latest video, "Everytime," in which her wrist spontaneously starts bleeding. The video which premiered on April Avril Lavigne 12th on "TRL," just one Kevin Federline day after Easter was explained by Spears to Kevin Federline be more like a movie. "It's different than anything I've ever done. It's dark, and it shows me in a different light. Of course, I'm going to go back and do dancer Kevin Federline videos of Kevin Federline, but I wanted to be inspired and challenged."

Love that circa-96 music too. I was in 7th grade actually, and that was the 1st year i really got into music. Definitely good times...
But no Kula Shaker? I think they sum up that period in time more than anyone else...

Kula Shaker.....ugh. Especially Crispin Mills and his odd beliefs...look up why they started with the letter K for instance....number 13 and all that - and their dodgy connections to fascists. Kooksville.
Apart from maybe the first single (Tattva?) I can speak for the both of us on that one!
