Radio Clash 103: Best of 2006
OK I lied about the last show being the last one of 2006 - I wasn’t going to do a best of show (I usually think they’re an excuse to go off down the pub early) but I noticed some criminal absences in the best of 2006 mashup lists like Anti Hit List and CultureBully - some amazing tracks that should be there (and some really old tracks that shouldn’t).
And got so annoyed about that I did a podcast…
So here is Radio Clash’s Best of 2006!

This is the best show I’ve heard in ages - of any of the podcasts I’m subscribed to (which is a hella lot).

pirate, shake your bootie….
I find great pleasure in listening to mash-ups. It’s a little subculture, driven by amateurs all over the world. I love it cause its foundation is love for music, melodies and pop-culture. It’s smart and brings joy to my heart. A clever com…

Hey Tim,
Despite the fact you were at first loth to do a ‘best of’ show, I’m delighted you did as I’m sure many of your listeners are.
IT ROCKS! In fact it’s my favourite out of all your shows.
Keep up the good work and have a top year.

Amazing podcast. One small point:- Mirror in the bathroom booty a.) not strictly a booty - it’s from a DJ mix by DJ Food and DK and b.) it was released in 2001. But you do point out you weren’t sure when it was released. Keep up the good work anyway.

[...] I forgot to say - I’ve been featured and reviewed over at the PodfinderUK video podcast on show 6 - thanks! If you can get over my ugly fizzog being on the video it’s quite good, although it sounds like I didn’t totally convert the presenter! In good company too - not only Tartan Podcast featured (love the ‘I Heart AC’ graphic!), but also Bitjobs for the Masses. EDIT: And is that a little of Dunproofin’s FU2 mix of Lady Sov I hear on the Twinkelboi segment? Class tune to be playing and one I also featured on Radio Clash recently. Gig went really well in Bristol, massive success and loads of people turned up, proper podcast report and photies coming soon! [...]
