This is DJNoNo’s entry to the current Crumplbangers Challenge set by Titus Jones to mash one of his favourites (Kesha, Britney, Killers, Muse or Panic At The Disco) with your favourites.
DJNoNo has been watching WIll It Mash with me and it seems he’s picked up a few things, not exactly good habits: ducks, lasers, and puns….oh dear.
This includes two Britney songs: the exceedingly dumb yet gay club crack of ‘Work Bitch’ – yes I have danced to it but why does she rap with a mock London accent? And a little bit of Gimme More – which apparently are leftovers from the original idea of ‘Gimme More Quacks’ but that didn’t work out even after making it.
DJNoNo’s faves are in here – dusty old comedy records, accordions (via Weird Al), quacking, old science fiction and zombies, bad puns, lasers, and tacky disco. And robot whispered tags. He wanted to make every Barbra a NoNo tag but I wouldn’t let him. He’s sulking now.
My faves are Boney M – sampled in the backing, again another childhood influence and probably the first time I heard disco, and Alan Moore the writer of Watchmen and V for Vendetta etc – he not only knows the score, that’s him singing at the start and I’ve always wanted @titusjones to use it in a mash on Will It Mash but know it’s very very unlikely.
