Always the way…I come up with the best Xmas ideas AFTER all the compilations and mixes are done…

This Sia vs Green Day mashup both about Santa wrecking his sleigh and overcoming adversity and surviving Christmasn eve and also goes out to those who have to survive Xmas and find it hard – I see you, I know what it’s like.- keep breathing. I hope this gives you some hope cos Santa’s coming for us too. and it’ll be over soon enough.

Hence the subtitle (which is the real title for me, but it’s a bit dark hence the alternate main title).

Also Still Breathing was a track I tried to mash in the pandemic, it means a lot to me, and seems interesting to take a rather down track and flip it into something so frivolous like Christmas, so you have the same bittersweet feeling I get with the festive period. Also in a way, it’s making a bit more resolution from the lockdown – which haunts me still, like the Ghost of Christmas Parst (just don’t call me Tiny TIm, I get offended and don’t sing about tulips anyway!)

Also festive punk, is always welcome. Not enough sleigh bells in GD tracks 😉
