A message of support to all artists out there – especially those who feel they don’t fit in, they suffer from the ‘wisdom’ of the crowd, and worry that their art isn’t perfect in an imperfect world that really doesn’t get what they do.
This again is very personal, and is as much a message to myself.
Hey, don’t write yourself off yet
Jimmy Eat World – THe Middle
It’s only in your head, you feel left out
Or looked down on
Just do your best
Do everything you can
And don’t you worry what their bitter hearts
Are gonna say
Not many mashups include Charles Bukowski’s poetry (any?) – especially The Genius of the Crowd, nor do I think many combine Jimmy Eat World with Drum and Bass? I’ve always loved ‘The Middle’ and it’s message of not conforming and worrying what people think, but when combined with Etherwood’s Amongst The Crowd and his poetry it gets a totally different take of artistic defiance.
