And continuing the Hyperpop challenge from DJNoNo’s last post, here are two more from that sad songs vs hyperpop challenge, a little like Unhappy Hardcore or Hardcure – the Foreigner vs Dorian Electra won that challenge!

And I am very proud of the Carpenters vs SOPHIE one.

And the second from the Crumplbanger Challenge – 

Looking for songs for this, I wanted to check out Dorian Electra and fell in love with the quirkiness of Flamboyant – it’s like some weird 90’s medieval metal game soundtrack. And I had to GO LARGE with the vocal, so the AOR/hair metal/gospel classic from Foreigner – I Want To Know What Love Is seemed to match the OTT vibe of the instrumental.

And the third for the Hyperpop challenge….so I had to work with SOPHIE’s amazing ‘It’s Okay to Cry’ and the saddest song I know – Superstar by the Carpenters.
